Push
You exert your maximum force against the machine. ARX matches it precisely, providing perfect resistance through the entire concentric (lifting) phase. There are no dead zones. No portion of the rep is wasted. Every inch of the movement produces optimal stimulus.

The machine pushes back. You resist the eccentric (lowering) phase at 100% of your capability. This is where the deepest muscle stimulation and the most significant strength adaptation occurs.
